  4.  The following changes to the active catalogue can be applied via
  5.  this function:

  8.   * Removing of missing graphics
  9.     ----------------------------

  11.     Should the files of catalogued graphics no longer exist in the
  12.     data path these entries will be removed from the catalogue.
  13.     But it has to be mentioned that missing a whole medium
  14.     (like a non-inserted CD-ROM, Disk, etc.) as well would cause these
  15.     entries to be removed).
  16.     Thus to protect your data a requester will always appear to get
  17.     an explicit confirmation for removing of entries
  18.     (see also VALIDATE).

  20.   * cataloguing changed graphics again
  21.     -----------------------------------

  23.     Should graphics have been changed after cataloguing all
  24.     these entries will be catalogued again
  25.     (see also VALIDATE).

  28.   Note: Should missing graphics have been removed after execution of
  29.         UPDATE, OPTIMIZE should also be done to allow the release
  30.         of possible unrequired hard disk space and allowing
  31.         faster access to the data records if selected sorting is used.
